Rain lifts burn ban till Sunday
Rockdale gets an inch as Pacific storm targets South Milam
For once, Rockdale and South Milam County were in crosshairs of a rain-bearing thunderstorm.
A deluge Tuesday afternoon brought an official .92-inch of rain to Rockdale and prompted a temporary lifting of Milam County’s rural outdoor burning ban.
County Judge Dave Barkemeyer said Wednesday morning the ban has been lifted but will be reimposed at 6 p.m. on Sunday. Full Story
