Angell

CAMERON—Memorial services for Richard E. “Gene” Angell, 75, of Temple, formerly of Cameron, are scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Lafferty officiating.

Mr. Angell died Sunday, Nov. 13, in a Temple hospital.

A retired farmer and rancher, he was born June 19, 1936, in Cameron to C.O. and Marietta (Boyd) Angell.

He married Mary Reed and was a member of First Baptist Church in Cameron.

Mr. Angell was preceded in death by a sister, Etta Angell.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Angell of Temple, formerly of Cameron; three daughters, Barbara Psencik of LaGrange, Mary Jean Gilbreath of Temple, Etta Hoag and husband Joe of Mesquite; a brother, Ferroll Angell and wife Betty of Cameron; and a sister, Fay Gwartney of Mesquite; also, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
