Shuffield

CAMERON—Funeral services for Wilburn Elma Shuffield, 97, of White Settlement, formerly of Cameron, were held Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Wayne Shuffield officiating. Burial followed at Little Flock Cemetery near Temple.

Mr. Shuffield died Nov. 9, in a White Settlement nursing facility.

He was born on Nov. 3, 1914, in Cameron, to Hubert and Bertha (Beaty) Shuffield. He retired from Coca-Cola and served in the U.S. Army-Air Force.

Mr. Shuffield was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Ingram Shuffield, in 1999 and a daughter, Odesa Bryant, in 2008.

Survivors are two sons, Garlen Lynn Shuffield and Wilburn Van Shuffield, both of Fort Worth; also, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
