Taylor Christmas homes tour set for December 10-11

The Taylor Conservation and Heritage Society invites the citizens of its neighboring towns and cities to visit Taylor and experience the Historic Christmas Homes Tour on Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11.

Six homes will be on display. Homes range from a renovated 1898 meat market to a wonderful Victorian home that is rumored to have been a house of ill repute.

Several homes feature extravagant Christmas displays, while others are rich in antiques and family heirlooms. One home demonstrates a unique man cave.

Heart to Heart Bed & Breakfast, 829 McClure Street in Taylor will be offering an inexpensive brunch and snacks to tour guests.

The tours will be held from noon to 5 p.m. each day. Advance tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and are available at the following Taylor locations: Taylor Chamber of Commerce, Frill’s, Bland’s Jewelers and Kunisch Wellness Center.

Tickets will be available on the days of the tour at tour headquarters, 200 N. Main (intersection of Highways 79 and 95) for $12 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

The Taylor Art Guild will be displaying art and Christmas decorations for sale at tour headquarters.
