CAMERON—Funeral services for Winnie Mae Green, 85, of Cameron were held Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, at Marek-Burns- Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Jim Lafferty officiating.

Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Green died Wednesday, Nov. 16, in a Cameron nursing facility.

She was born Nov. 14, 1926, in Milam County to Rubie Bufford and Florence Lee (Crosby) Craddock.

Mrs. Green was a 1944 graduate of C.H. Yoe High School in Cameron.

She married Raymond Green on Aug. 16, 1947.

Mrs. Green was a bookkeeper for several Cameron businesses and kept the nursery at First Baptist Church for more than 40 years.

She was a homemaker, Scout leader and member of the Senior Yoemen Club.

Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Green, in 2004 and a daughter, Mary Lee Mikulec.

Survivors include a son, Raymond Craddock Green and wife Wendi of Jacksonville, and a sonin law, Myron Mikulec of Cameron; also, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Cameron Nursery Fund or the American Cancer Society.
