William Sherod Robinson was also known as William Robinson, Bill Robinson and used W. S. Robinson as his signature.
At age 19 he owned a horse and was a taxpayer, but still couldn’t vote.
By age 21 he reached his full height, 6-2. He was somewhat thin, but powerfully built.
