Miller

CAMERON—Funeral services for Mary Miller, 79, of Cameron were held Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Shuffield officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller died Friday, Nov. 25, in a Cameron nursing facility.

A retired seamstress and homemaker, she was born March 1, 1932, in Burton to Willie and Annie (Williams) Schulz.

She married G. C. Pete Miller on Oct. 23, 1948.

Mrs. Miller was a member of Battetown Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Pete Miller of Cameron; a son, John A. Miller of Cameron; two daughters, Mary Ann McEntire of Temple, Rebecca M. Sledge of Bryan; two brothers, Willie Schulz and Charlie Schulz, both of Bryan; and five sisters, Dora Redden and Nelda Heninger, both of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Betty Peters of Bryan, Rosa Lee Ash of Crosby, Linda Martinez of Houston; also, six grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Memorials may be made t0 Scott & White Hospice in Temple.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
