Chamber lists more turkey winners for week
More winners of $10 turkey certificates have been announced by the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce.
The annual holiday giveaway program concludes on Monday (Dec. 12). All shoppers have to do is be at a participating business when they are told it’s time to award a certificate.

Deers, hog, cow cause accidents
It was “ Wildlife Week” on Rockdale area roads as no less than six accidents were caused by animals.
Final score was four deer, one hog and the same cow was the source of two wrecks.
Only one involved injuries. That came at 2:28 p.m. Nov. 29 when a vehicle operated by Meagan Young of Rockdale collided with a deer on US 77 south of Minerva. Full Story
