The 6- foot- 3 senior took over the game and guided Rockdale to a 60-58 overtime victory Tuesday night at Tiger Gymnasium.

Milano regroups for substitute victory over Caldwell Tuesday
The No. 17 ranked Milano Eagles basketball team suffered its first loss of the season with a 61-59 setback in overtime to Fayetteville in the Dime Box tournament over the weekend.
The 6-1 Eagles finished second in the five-team round robin tournament behind Fayetteville, ranked No. 14 in Class A Division II, who went undefeated in tourney play. Milano is in Class A Division I. Full Story

MILANO—The Milano Lady Eagles fell to 3-5 on the season as they lost to Burton 48-42 at Geneva Paceley Gym Tuesday.
Turnovers plagued the team in the second half.
Milano was down 20-19 at the half and then took a slim 32-29 lead into the final frame.
Stonie Guthrie led the Lady Eagles w ith 10 points, eight rebounds, seven steals and four assists. Full Story

Bulldogs grab up Granger Tournament
Thorndale improves to 6-0 on season
The Thorndale Bulldogs extended their unbeaten season by handling Moody 48-34 Tuesday night at Bulldog Gymnasium to move to 6-0.
Aaron Laurence broke loose for 20 points to lead the Bulldogs to a come-from-behind win as they limited Moody to eight second half points.
Dillon Irwin followed Laurence with 15 points. Full Story
