Gause students to present annual Christmas program

A reminder that the Gause Elementary School students will present their annual Christmas program at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15 in the school gym. Classes will be released for the Christmas holidays at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16.

Gause 4-H Club will hold its December meeting at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 at the Gause School cafeteria. Members will have their Christmas party at this time as well.

Members of Gause Baptist Church invite you to come and share the Christmas musical Majesty of Heaven, that will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 by the First Baptist Church of Rockdale choir. Following the program, you are invited to share a time of fellowship and refreshments.

Gause Met hod ist Chu rch invites you all to attend their candlelight Christmas Eve service at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24. On Christmas Day, they will have worship at the regular 9:30 a.m. time and also invite you to attend.

Gause Junior High School boys and girls basketball teams each got second place at the Brazos Christian tournament over the weekend. Wow, some good games. They had games on Monday of this week and then will take a break until Jan. 9 when they will play back at Brazos Christian in Bryan.

Edith Smith was taken to the hospital in Bryan on Sunday and was to have tests done on Monday. We wish her the best.

Hearing that a number of folks are still suffering with the allergies, colds, etc of the season. Grandson Jaxon had pneumonia last week. He is now better and hoping he is well on his way to recovery.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
