San Antonio show photo contest deadline Jan. 15
Entries must be received by the San Antonio Livestock Show office by Jan. 15. You can enter two photographs in each of the categories for a total of 26 entries.

PLANT ID TRAINING—If you want to learn about the environment mark your calendar for the Jan. 18 Plant ID training. The training will be conducted at Bea’s K itchen in Cameron starting with a pizza supper at 5:30 p.m. Dr. Barron Rector, Extension Range Specialist will start the training about 6 p.m. It will be a hands-on training for 4-Hers, leaders and interested persons to learn about ecology, range management and plant identification.

DISTRICT FOOD SHOW— C ong rat u lat ions to Nata sha Ramthun for her participation in the District 4-H Food Show on Dec. 8th. Natasha is a Cameron 4-H member. BEEKEEPING ESSAY—The 2012 Texas 4-H Beekeeping Essay Contest materials are available. The topic for the essay contest is: “The Results of Honey Bee Pollination in My Community”.
