Tucker Tucker HOUSTON—Hermenia “Hattie” Tucker, 98, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2011, in a Brenham nursing facility.

Graveside ser v ices were held Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery in Houston.

She was born

Dec. 17, 1912, in Flatonia to Frank R. and Henrietta Barta, the third of 12 children.

Hermenia formerly lived in Houston until failing health.

She was a lifelong member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Spring Branch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.A. Tucker, in 2000; and her youngest son, Daniel Ray Tucker, in July 2011.

Survivors are a son, Arvin Dennis Tucker and wife Cathey of Georgetown; grandchildren Keith Tucker, Michelle Hamilton and husband Tommy, Casey Tucker and wife Cristy; great-grandchildren Kyle and Kolt Tucker, Laci and Landon Hamilton, and Janel McGary; three siblings; a daughter in-law, Janice Tucker; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family, including cousins-in-law, Shirley and Clyde Luetge and Lyngle (Bill) and Veronica Cardwell.
