Chamber hosting NYE dance Saturday at KC Hall
Hel lo, Ro ckd a le. Wel l another Christmas has come and gone. I hope the holiday was a great one for all of you. I had a great Christmas with my family and friends and feel so blessed to be a part of their lives and to live in a community like Rockdale.
We are nearing a new year, 2012. This is the time of the year when we all look back at what we have accomplished and set goals for what lies ahead.
The Chamber is sponsoring a dance for New Year’s Eve. Texas Unlimited Band will perform from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. with doors opening at 8 p.m. Details on this event can be found on our website, www.rockdalechamber.com.
Tickets can be purchased either at the chamber or on our website. I hope to see all of you there so we can celebrate the beginning of 2012 together.
The chamber office will be closed on Monday, Jan. 2 for the New Year’s holiday.
I leave you with this thought:
“Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each New Year find you a better man.”—Benjamin Franklin email@example.com
