Third ‘sting’ drug suspect re-arrested

For the third time in less than two months, a suspect out on bond from an October drug sting in Milam County has been rearrested.

Trent Don- nel l Mitchel l, 23, of Rockdale, turned himself in to the Milam County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday to face charges of possession of marijuana (4 ounces to 5 pounds) and evading arrest and detention.

He was released the next day after posting $20,000 bond.

The evading arrest charge stemmed from an incident last Wednesday night in Rockdale.

Mitchell Mitchell “The suspect was recognized as Trent Mitchell,” White said.
