Milano to host annual cow-calf clinic on Friday

Milano Livestock E xchange will host the annual Texas Agrilife Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic on Friday.

Cattle raisers from six counties and beyond are expected to attend.

Registration is $20, including lunch, and will begin at 8 a.m. “Pre-registration is not necessary,” County Agent Jon Gersbach said. “Please register at the door Friday.”

Program sessions start at 9 a.m.

“This year’s clinic, with the challenges that we are facing during the drought, will be more important than ever,” Gersbach said.

CAPARO meeting ahead on Monday

The quarterly meeting of the Community Advisory Panel to Alcoa Rockdale Operations (CAPARO) will meet from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Alcoa Lake Training Center.
