Camp Hearne column brought back memories
I enjoyed Bill Cooke’s column item on Camp Hearne’s POW role during World War II. During WWII one of my uncles, Oscar Willard from Gause, was drafted into the army. His wife was able to shop at the Camp Hearne PX.

Community rallied for couple after October fire
On Oct. 15, about 9:15 p.m., we had a fire break out in the garage/shed portion of our game house which spread very rapidly through the attic into the whole building.
Needless to say, it was very traumatic for us, as well as some guests who happened to be in the game room at the time. Full Story
