Wilson honored on 91st

GAUSE—Dorsie M. Wilson of Gause celebrated her 91st birthday Friday, Dec. 30, with a phone call from her oldest grandson, Derrick Ferguson of Houston, singing “Happy Birthday.”

She was treated to lunch by the following:

Son-in-law law and daughter Johnny and Delores Fisher; her sister, Alma Gray of Gause; daughter Laverne Ratcliff and Pamela Quarles, friend of the family, both from Houston; Doyle, Agnes, Aneyshia, Aiden Gray and Shana Hickman of Bryan.

She was greeted and wished a happy birthday from Mr. and Mrs. B.P. Proctor of Gause, Elder Robert Jackson of Temple and Elder Moore of Bryan.

While the family and friends were celebrating, she got another call from her youngest greatgrand son, Rylan Jones of Houston, Texas with another “Happy Birthday” song.

On her return home she received a bouquet of f lowers from Rev. Bryan Carter, his wife Stephanie and family of DeSoto.

Other well wishers were her brother, John V. Smith of Denver Colorado; son Ferias E. Ferguson of Dallas and other nieces and nephews.
