Thorndale second at own tournament after upset
The No. 9 Thorndale Lady Dogs took second place in their won tourney over the holidays and started back to District 27-2A play on Tuesday night with an 51- 28 road victory at Cameron Yoe.
Thorndale (19-2, 4- 0) led by just three after the first quarter 9-6, but busted loose in the second, leaving the Lady Yoe in the dust. The Lady Dogs led 27-15 by halftime. Full Story

Thorndale uses first half cushion to stave off Yoemen
The Thorndale Bulldogs used a first half cushion to keep Cameron at arm’s length and remain unbeaten in District 27-2A with a 59-48 victory on the road Tuesday night.

Lady Eagles get back on track with win
The Milano Lady Eagles (6-8) are set to start District 27-A play on Friday as they travel to Holland. Milano was co-champions of the league last season and reached the post-season for the first time in 11 years.
