Mixer, ribbon cutting set to be held this week

Wow, what a wet week. I want to say thank you to the RVFD and all who helped those in need during the flooding last week. I say this a lot but I don’t know what our community would do without these guys and I appreciate all they do for us. We have a full calendar of events coming to Rockdale.

On Thursday, Feb. 9, Rockdale Welding Supply is hosting a chamber mixer and ribbon cutting at 5 p.m. I want to congratulate Randy Fletcher on his new business and want to invite all of you to come out and congratulate him in person. He will have appetizers and drinks and it is a good time for all of Rockdale’s business owners and citizens to visit and share news. I look forward to seeing you all there.

The Piano Bar will have their ribbon cutting this Friday, Feb. 10 at 3 p.m. Owner CJ Foster has remodeled the restaurant. I encourage all of you to come see the changes and congratulate CJ on becoming a new chamber member.
