Drug, sex assault arrests made in county

Drug sale and sexual assault arrests were made by Milam County deputy sheriffs during the past seven days.

Sylvester Kendre Brown, 23, of Harker Heights was arrested Sunday by Deputy Eddy Veracruz for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.

Brown remains in the county jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.

Kenneth Dale Wehunt, 34, of Burlington was arrested Thursday by Deputy Chad Marek for sexual assault of a child.

Bond was set at $40,000 and he remains in the county jail.
