Funeral services for Myrtie Rose Kyle, 82, of El Campo were held Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at First Christian Church of El Camp with Rev. Keith Gibbons and Rev. Chris Humble officiating. Graveside services were also held Monday at Forest Grove Cemetery in Forest Grove.

Mrs. Kyle died Friday, Feb. 10.

She was born Feb. 19, 1929, in Lexington to the late Will and Ivy Stence Crim.

She earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Texas State Teachers College and was a retired teacher.

Mrs. Kyle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Kyle Sr.; four brothers, Charles, Bill, Robert and Jim Crim; two sisters, Louis Norman and husband Carl, Tillie Bowe and husband John; and a brotherin law, J.R. Whiteley.

Survivors are three sons, Bill Kyle and wife Donna, Dan Kyle and wife Frances, all of El Campo, Henry Kyle Jr. of Lake Jackson; six grandchildren, Kim Brennan and husband Patrick, Jason Romans, Brooke Kyle, Kristi Kyle, Clark Kyle and James Kyle; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Brennan and Joshua Westbrook; two sisters, Sue Whiteley of Mount Vernon, Betsy Duggan of Rockport; a brother, Jerry Crim and wife Faye of Elgin; and four sisters in-law, Doris Crim of Forest Grove, Myra Crim of Bryan, Ruby Iona Crim of Cameron, Tinny Crim of Caldwell; also, numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of El Campo, Forest Grove Christian Church or the American Diabetes Association.
