Lions pancake supper coming up Tuesday
The 12th annual Rockdale Noon Lions Club pancake supper will be held on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Busy Bea Cafe, Mike Pruett, event chair, announced
Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children age 6-12. Children 5 and under eat free.

Heaven’s Highway Riders motorcycle club will hold its monthly ride on Saturday, Feb. 18 to the “For The Love Of God Rally” in Thrall.

THORNDALE—VFW Post 4009 of Thorndale will hold a chili fund-raiser, serving from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19 at the post home on FM 486 north.

Club donates to historical marker effort at Sugarloaf
Gause 4-H Club met on Feb. 7 for their monthly meeting at the Gause School cafeteria. The meeting was conducted by club president, Cameron Cooper. After the 4-H Club motto, pledge and prayer, the group said the pledges to the U.S. and Texas flags.
