What about the people who don’t pay any taxes?

Dear editor,

Mr. Obama keeps telling us that everyone needs to pay their fair share and I am 100 percent in favor of that.

First, stop trying to add more and more taxes on the rich. The rich will find ways around them or just stop investing and creating new jobs. The money they already have they will sit on and wait until Obama and his taxes are gone.

There is a much better way to get the money that the government needs, and that is to run the government just like I have to run my home.

I have to take what I make, which isn’t a lot being retired, paying my taxes, federal, state sales tax, over eight percent, property taxes, license renewals, inspections, and then add on additional taxes for phone, water etc.

I’m sure others could add many more that I can’t think of off the top of my head.

Forgot one big one, fuel taxes, not to mention the cost of it.

I have to balance my budget ever y mont h whet her I li ke it or not. My bills have to get paid, and I can’t borrow more and more ever y time I want something new.

Obama wants every one to pay their fair share, and I am all for that, but what about the almost 50 percent of the people that pay no taxes at all, and then get back several thousand dollars every year because they have a family and can’t afford to pay any taxes.

I might mention that many of them are living together, but not married and working the system to get all the help that they can.

They need to pay their fair sha re too. They shou ld pay at least 5 percent and not be allowed to get back more than they pay in.

When t heir ref und equals what they paid in, they should get back zero.

The federal government needs to balance their budget, along with all states, counties, cities and live on their income, just as most of the rest of us do.

It’s time for the people of America to rise up and vote out all these men and women that think it is their job to spend, spend and spend some more, and pay for it later and later and then never pay up.

I don’t care what party they are, from top to bottom, get rid of them.

Elect people that want this country to be here for another 100 years.
