Ausburn

Private graveside services for Helen H. Ausburn, 82, will be held at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Taylor with Minister Royce Williamson officiating.

Mrs. Ausburn died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, in Scott & White Hospital in Temple.

She was born Sept. 14, 1929, in the Conoley community near Thorndale to Rafael Hernandez and Belen Negrete.

Mrs. Ausburn lived all of her life in the Thorndale area and was employed by the Texas Workforce Commission in Austin for 14 years retiring in 1993.

She was a member of Hwy. 95 Church of Christ in Taylor.

Mrs. Ausburn was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Frances Torres, Erminia Hernandez, Aurora Morin and Mary Espinosa; and seven brothers, Fransico, Jesus, Alfredo, Ralph, Everardo, Jose and Abilino Hernandez.

Survivors are two daughters, Helen McCullers and husband Bobby of Georgetow n, Mar y Martha Denman of Thorndale; two brothers, Salvador Hernandez of Uvalde, Mike Hernandez of Garland; and a sister, Anselma Castro of Bellvadeere, Illinois; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Daniel T. Hernandez, Joseph G. Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez, Dustin Denman, Leonard Miranda III, and Andrew Brand.

Honorary pallbearers were Eugene Diver and Ray Ochoa.
