All school, city races contested
Two candidates signed up in Rockdale Monday on the last day to file for municipal and school races, assuring all four races May 12 will be contested.
Jennifer Kellar Davenport signed up to oppose incumbent Mike Pruett for Place 1 on the Rockdale ISD School Board.
A nd Donald Brummett filed for an east ward city council position to oppose incumbent Willie Phillips.
The other two school and city races are also opposed. Dr. Fannie Lovelady- Spain and Troy Zinn are seeking the Place 2 sc ho ol board po sit io n being vacated by Way ne Fisher.
