Three hurt in Sunday wreck

Three persons were hurt in a one-vehicle accident at 5:25 p.m. Sunday when their vehicle ran off US 77 north of Minerva.

It was one of five accidents investigated during the past week in the Rockdale area by the Department of Public Safety all of them one-vehicle.

Trooper Ernest DelBosque listed the driver as Thomas Copeland, 27, of Victoria. Copeland passengers Deanna Walker, 23, and infant Aubrey Copeland were treated at Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale.

Damages were termed moderate to extensive.

CRASHES—No injuries were reported in the other four crashes.

Trooper Erik Gaston said moderate damages were reported in a 4:55 p.m. Saturday crash on US 79 east of Milano.

Driver was listed as Matthew Chung, 21, of Austin.

Gaston said Kotika Sims, 35, of Thorndale was the driver of a vehicle in a 5:50 p.m. Saturday accident on US 79 west of Rockdale.

Damages were termed moderate.

ONE-VEHICLE— Sandra Stutts, 49, of Rockdale, was listed as the driver in an accident reported at 9:10 a.m. Sunday on FM 908 north of Rockdale.

Damages were termed moderate to extensive by Gaston.

Moderate damages were reported at 10:30 a.m. Sunday in a crash on US 77 north of Rockdale, according to Gaston.

Driver was listed as Jeanette Pollard, 49, of Leesville, Louisiana.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
