Three draw sentences in 20th District Court

CAMERON—Three persons were sentenced last week in Milam County 20th District Court, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears, who listed case dispositions as follows:

• Michelle Renee Moore, also known as Sheryl Tisdale, 22, Crosby, pleaded guilty to attempted tampering with evidence. She received a nine-month state jail term.

• Bradley A. Perez, 20, College Station pleaded guilty to a third- degree felony offense, assault family violence/impeded breath. He was placed on six years deferred adjudication probation, with standard conditions of probation, including completion of batterer’s intervention class and was ordered to pay $2,262.68 restitution.

• Cameron Michael England, 22, of Florida pleaded guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor offense, attempted possession of a controlled substance ( less than one gram). He was sentenced to two days in the Milam County Jail and ordered to pay a $750 fine, plus court costs, and $140 to the Department of Public Safety lab.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
