Lining up for KC Lenten fish fry....

Reporter/Mike Brown Reporter/Mike Brown There are two kinds of lines at the Rockdale Knights of Columbus Hall each Friday evening during Lent, a kitchen crew serving line and a line of fried catfish lovers. The Knights and their families are serving an average of 300 plates of fried catfish with all the trimmings between the hours of 5 and 7:30 p.m.—or until “sold out”—each Friday through March 30. Above, servers include (L-R) Vicky Svetlik, Pat Barcak, Patsy David, Helen Zapata and Mamie Guzman. Meals are served to eat at the hall and also “to go.” Below, Roy Alford Jr. arrives at the head of the line to pick up his order.
