Girls haven’t played in a week due to weather
Hoping to use a big win over Salado to vault them into league play, the Rockdale Lady Tigers hopes were doused by the rainy weather.
Instead, the 8- 6 Lady Tigers will have to wait one more day to lift the lid on the District 23-3A chase, hosting Smithville (2-10) Wednesday.

Jentsch earns all-state in two different sports
After first team nod in football, Milano star adds basketball to list
John Jentsch is truly a man for all seasons.
The 6-foot-4, 245- pound senior was named first-team, all-state as a football player earlier this year and now comes a first-team nod as a basketball player on the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches squad. Full Story

Tiger golfers third at regional preview
CONROE—The Rockdale Tiger golf team got a pretty good indication of where they stand for a possible third straight trip to the state tournament at the Region III golf preview held at The Village Golf Club in Conroe.
