Troopers probe Rockdale area wrecks

State troopers were called to the following crashes during the past week in the Rockdale area:

• 1:15 a.m. Saturday, US 79 west of Rockdale; driver, Richard Williams, 79, Milano, treated at Richards Memorial Hospital, Rockdale, moderate damages.

• 6:20 a.m. Thursday, US 77, south of Rockdale, driver, Diana Johnson, 51, Rockdale, hit hog, no injuries, minor to moderate damages.

• 7:50 a.m. Thursday, FM 908, north of Rockdale, driver, Jimmy Lambert, 46, Taylor, hit deer, no injuries, damages minor to moderate.

• 1: 50 a. m. Fr iday, US 77, north of Rockdale, driver Edward Flores, 28, Thorndale, no injuries, moderate damages.

• 3:50 p.m. Saturday US 79- Texas 36 in Milano, drivers Barry Schaffer, 50, Joshua, and Asher Lathrop, 36, no injuries, moderate damages.

• 5:05 a.m. Tuesday, FM 487, north of Rockdale, driver David Baggerly, 26, Rockdale, no injuries, moderate damages.

• 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, FM 2095, drivers, Zeta Fail, 51, Bryan, and Sherry Whitley, 58, Cameron, no injuries, damages termed moderate.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
