TOPS IN CLASS— Rockdale Junior High Band earned top honors Esmeralda Salcedo, Shay Davenport, Bailey Wallace, Ryann Morgan, Saturday during competition at The Colony High School in Dallas and Jaycee Henderson, Shawn Waldrep, (fourth row) Ashton Betchan, also enjoyed a trip to Six Flags Over Texas. The band was awarded Brian Blanchard, Samantha Molina, Annie Hasselbach, Abbi Moreland, straight Division I’s (superior) ratings for its performance and also Makayla Ramirez, Katherine Mullins, (fifth row) RJH director Lance won its division with a “Best in Class Award.” “I am very proud of Walker, Lily Schweitzer, Jake Land, Blake King, Monica Million, Ben all the junior high bands have accomplished this year,” RJH director Blanchard, Julianna Juarez, Joey Montelongo, John Paul Erman, Braxton Lance Walker said. “I would like to thank all of the parent volunteers Moore, Sabrina Vargas, (sixth row) Mason Morrow, Mary Willis, that went with us for our 23 hour jouney to Dallas and back.” Taylor Wilson, Emily Ibarra, Dylan Gereszek, Daniel Banda, Xavian RJH band members at the contest included (front row, l-r) Ashley Ellison, RJ Rutledge, (seventh row) Fred Henderson, Brad Young, Barcuch, Arely Marquez, Phong Vo, Michael Zapata, Jared Skrhak, Geritt Davenport, Preston Dorman, Megan Perez, Elvis Waldrep, (second row) Jessie Sorenson, Leena Robbins, Sierra Gereszek, Javonte Crawford, (back row) Travis Morgan, Brett Brockenbush, David Jennifer Zelaya, Erin Blanchard, Kylee Miller, Samantha Pantaleon, Castillo, Mary Hartley, Andrew Perez, Jeremiah Bedwell, Jesse Smith, Kathryn Nelson, Katelynn Hammond, (third row) Vanessa Gonzalez, Nicholas Beason, Trace Phillips, Quentin White.
