Lady Tigers clinch playoffs
Trailing 5-4 heading into the seventh inning, the Rockdale Lady Tigers rallied for five runs in their last at-bat en route to a 10-7 victory over Caldwell on the road and clinched a playoff berth as well.
The Lady Tigers stand 14-9 on the season and 6-3 in District 23-3A, second behind league leader, 21-5 and 9-0 LaGrange. Full Story

LEXINGTON— Using their prowess in the relay events with three gold medals, the Thorndale Bulldogs sped past their thinclad bretheren to capture the District 27-2A track championship.
The Bulldogs accumulated 112 points in a hotly contested meet, st a head of Cameron (95), Academy (93) and Lexington

Lady Eagles pick up second district victory by run-rule
Lady Dogs end season on high note with win
Milano picked up a 14-4 win in five innings over Bartlett in the Lady Eagles’ final home game of the season on Tuesday night.
The team will finish up the regular season with a road trip to Granger on Friday night.
Milano (6-13-2, 2-7) put up three runs in the first inning, but the Lassies cut the lead to 3-2 on several Lady Eagle throwing errors. Full Story
Milano sending five athletes, one relay team to regionals
IOLA—The Milano Eagles will be sending five athletes and one relay team to the Class A, Region IV Track Meet.
The regional meet will be held at Converse Judson High School on April 27-28.
Pole vaulter Brandon Garza is set up to make his second straight appearance at the state track meet after placing first at area after soaring 12-feet, six inches. Full Story
5th annual Tiger Booster Club tourney is May 5
Rockdale Tiger Booster Club w ill host its 5th annual golf tournament on Saturday, May 5 at the Rockdale Country Club.
The one day tournament will include a crawfish boil. Full Story
