Area athletes spread out for regionals
Come Friday, area athletes will be scurrying all over the state of Texas to continue the dream of going to Austin and participate in a state meet.
The state track meet is May 11-12 at Mike Meyers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas.
Rockdale will ship off 12 athletes to the regional track meet, April 27 and 28 at Turner Field in Humble. Full Story

Golf team falls in state bid
WILLIS—The Rockdale golf team’s streak of going to the state tournament will have to remain frozen at two.
Despite leading the field after the first day, the disappointed Tigers failed to qualify for state, finishing fourth at the regional tournament at Panorama Village Golf Course last Thursday. Full Story

5th annual Tiger Booster Club tourney is May 5
Rockdale Tiger Booster Club w ill host its 5th annual golf tournament on Saturday, May 5 at the Rockdale Country Club.
