BIRTHDAY BASH



BIRTHDAY BASH—Family and friends gathered recently for an old-fashioned softball game complete with hot dogs and apple pie to help Jim Platt celebrate his 65th birthday, and daughter Laurie celebrate her 31st. Family members participating were Jim’s wife Linda, his brother, Roy and Frieda Platt from Timpson, brother Mike and Kim Platt from Tulsa, OK, daughter Julie Martin, daughter Dawn and Tommy Shriver, daughter Laurie, and grandchildren Brooke (Goodman), Britt and Bryce Martin, Dakota, Davin, Rex and Camden Shriver. Other family members: Glenna Lynn, Ethan, Esten and Mekenna Jones, Udine Henson, Texey Caldwell, Jackquenett and Nicholas Goetz and Jimmy Keen. Friends participating: Heather, Ethan, Trinity and Aidan Bartley, Jon and Patricia Schell, Tom and Sharon Murphy, James and Cindy Saegart, Carolyn Wright, Chad, Kristi, Rylee and Owen Pyeatt, Branson and Carson McCoy and Kaitlyn Woods. James Saegart encouraged the participants with a devotion. Announcer for the occasion was Tom Murphy.
