Brown-Hayslett vows said in Pleasant Grove


Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Patrick Hayslett Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Patrick Hayslett Sydney Meredith Brown and Gregory Patrick Hayslett were married at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012, at the Brown family home in Pleasant Grove.

Rev. Elizabeth Zarelli Turner, rector of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Betz Brown of Pleasant Grove. Her grandparents were the late Mary and Doss Brown of Pleasant Grove.

The groom is the son of Janet and Earl Hale and Ricky and Gay Hayslett, all of Dallas. His grandmother is Sherry Gish of Dallas.

The musician was cellist Bryan Hayslett, performing selections from Canon in D, Pachelbel and Wagner’s Bridal Chorus.

The bride wore an ivory ball gown with lace embellished with pearls and crystals and carried a jeweled brooch bouquet.

The maid of honor was Monica Lowe of Austin and matron of honor was Jennifer Finch of College

Station.

Bridesmaids were Cassie Morrow, Emily Olson of Austin and Sheridan Lewis of Dallas. They wore charcoal Peau de Soie dresses and carried handmade art fabric bouquets.

Serving the groom as best men were Carlos Sanchez of Panama City, Panama, and Joshua Snowden of Dallas.

Groomsmen were Philip Morrow, Lon Kostelac and Anthony Ortega, all of Austin.

Flower girls were Kendal and Shelby Brown, cousins of the bride, and the ring bearer was Alex Spitzer of Dallas, nephew of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance featuring River City Soul were held on the lawn.

The rehearsal dinner, a crawfish boil by Lee Parsley, was held Friday, April 20, on the grounds of Rainbow Courts.

After a honeymoon in Kona, Hawaii, the couple will reside in Dallas.
