ENGAGED—Stephen and Laurie Niemtschk of Thorndale announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaylee Dawn Niemtschk, to Samuel Gus Floerke III, son of Sammy and Lisa Floerke Jr. of Taft. The bride-elect’s grandparents are the late Bill and Jacki Sims, Viola Niemtschk and Alton Huelsebusch, and the late Erwin Niemtschk, all of Thorndale. She is a Thorndale High School graduate and 2011 graduate of Texas A&M University. She is employed at Stata Corp. in College Station. The prospective groom’s grandparents are Paul and May Creek of Ingleside, Angeline Floerke and the late Sam Floerke of Taft. He is a graduate of Gregory-Portland High School and will graduate from Texas A&M University this month. He is employed with Floerke Farm of Taft. The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. Oct. 6, 2012, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale.
