Police serve drug warrant, find more narcotics, file two charges

Rockdale police went to serve a drug warrant on a 57-year-old Rockdale man last Wednesday, found additional narcotics and made an arrest on two charges instead of one.

Lt. J. D. Newlin said Ofc. David Wright went to serve a warrant for possession of a controlled substance on Simon Alexander Shuman, as the result of a previous case investigated by Ofc. Adam Assaker.

Shuman was released after posting bond totaling $12,000, set by Municipal Judge Jerry Waggoner.
