AUSTIN—Texas Comptroller Susan Combs sent out $633 million in May local sales tax allocations last week to cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose tasking districts. That is up 5.5 percent compared to a year ago.
Combs said that state sales tax revenue in April was $2.07 billion, up 10.9 percent compared to April 2011. Full Story
