Jentsch, Gage top MHS graduates for 2012

MILANO—John Charles Jentsch is the valedictorian and Hunter Lee Gage the salutatorian of the 33-member Milano High School graduating class of 2012.

Principal Greg Decker said the two will deliver addresses during commencement exercises set for 8 p.m. Friday at Pruett Field. Baccalaureate services were held Sunday in the MHS cafetorium.

Jentsch, son of Craig and Holly Jentsch, compiled a grade point average of 4.72 during high school. He plans to attend Texas A&M University.

Gage, who plans to attend McLennan Community College, compiled a 4.1 GPA. She is the daughter of Terry Noack and Rodney Gage.

Decker listed other honor graduates as follows:

• Elisabeth Arline Thomason, 4.0, daughter of Lee and Leah Thomason.

• Lyndsie Erin Gray, 3.9, daughter of Frank and Karen Gray.

• Dylan Tyler Eastland, 3.8, son of Jack and Lauren Eastland.

• Desiree Theresa Adrian, 3.7, daughter of Ronald and Martha Adrian.

• Elizabeth Paige Serna, 3.5, daughter of Christopher and Nancy Serna.

Finishing out the top 10 in the class were:

• Elizabeth Paige Bradshaw, 3.4, daughter of Samantha Bradshaw and the late Brooks Bradshaw.

• Brandon Duke Garza, 3.2, son of Claudia Mata and Jimmy Garza.

• Lacie Nicole Porterfield, 3.2, daughter of Don and Loretta Porterfield.
