THREE'S COMPANY



THREE’S COMPANY—Traffic is usually heavy on US 79 through Rockdale on Fridays but this past one was a beaut with three-vehicle, chain-reaction crashes both morning and afternoon. Top, vehicles operated by James Newman of Lexington, Jaime Whitmire of Rockdale and William Taylor of Buckholts were in collision in front of Pizza Hut at 8:07 a.m. Below, vehicles operated by Andrea Rodriguez of Rockdale, Monroe Kuykendall of Cameron and Joseisa Betancourt-Rodriguez of Poteet were involved in another crash near Miller-Starnes Chevrolet-Buick at 5:36 p.m. No serious injuries were reported. Damages ranged from minor to extensive.
