Three draw sentences in 20th District Court

CAMERON—Three persons were sentenced during the past week in 20th District Court, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears, who listed case dispositions as follows:

• Devin Nicole Dickey, 21, Austin, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, two years deferred adjudication probation, including substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, prohibited from attending any Nocturnal Fest-type festival, $1,500 fine, $140 restitution.

• Amanda Dawn Dusek, 30, Caldwell, pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance (less than one gram), 15-month state jail term, to run concurrent with a Robertson County sentence, $140 restitution.

• Susan Elizabeth Beresko, 20, Louisiana, pleaded guilty to a lesser Class A misdemeanor offense, attempted possession of a controlled substance, two years deferred adjudication probation, including substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, 150 hours community service, $1,000 fine, $140 restitution.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
