Animals, present and missing, draw calls

Milam Count y ’s abundant livestock, whether present or missing, drew the attention of the sheriff’s department during the past week.

The department received a call of a missing bull on May 22, off US 79 west of Rockdale.

Missing cattle were reported Sunday on County Road 208A in the Cameron area.

The department also answered 10 calls to livestock on roads throughout the county during the past week.
