Anxious moments....



Four Rockdale teens appear to have escaped serious injury as this 2001 Chevrolet Suburban rolled off FM 908 at the Brushy Creek bridge at 3:20 p.m. Friday. Driver Alexandria Perez, 19, passengers Christa Pelzel, 19, Andrew Perez, 14, and Jose Montelongo, 14, were treated and released at Scott & White Hospital. Trooper David Yarbrough said all were wearing their seat belts. The vehicle was totaled. The crash drew three medical helicopters, three ambulances, the DPS, Rockdale firefighters and sheriff’s department. (See page 3A).
