Annual county crop production tour set for June 7

Texas AgriLife Extension Service Milam County will hold our annual Crops Tour.

The tour will visit plots and discuss current issues related to row crop production in the county. Cost will be $10 per person attending.

Registration will begin at 8:45 a.m. outside the Buckholts Community Center and will depart for the tour from there.

There will be three hours (1 hr L&R, 1 hr IPM, 1 hr Gen) of CEUs offered for TDA Pesticide Applicator License Holders.

STILES FARM FIELD DAY—The 49th annual Stiles Farm Foundation Field Day will be held on June 19 at the Stiles Farm in Thrall.

Registration will begin at Stiles Farm headquarters and costs $10. The tours will begin at 8:30 a.m.

At the conclusion of the tours, there will be a sponsored meal and presentation. There is a trade show in conjunction with the field day. Following lunch, there will be equipment demonstrations and additional plots available for review.
