Applications are available at the Milam County Extension Office and on our website http://milam.agrilife.org/. Interviews will be conducted in August for everyone that submits applications. Remember, you must submit a 4-H record book by June 21.

New record book Forms

4-H record book format has been changed and improved for 2012. The new version is available on the record book website or you can complete a word version.

Either format can be used for the 2012 4-H Record Books. Handouts and additional information is available at the Extension Office or on the Milam County 4-H website, http:// milam.agrilife.org/.

4-H Record Books have new format for Junior, Intermediate and Senior levels. Beginners can complete the Junior forms for county recognition. You must use the new forms for the 2011 - 2012 4-H activities.

Your record book will start with the new forms for the current year. All previous years record book information will just be attached behind the current year. This will make record book preparation a lot easier.

Start now so you will have a record book ready to submit for county judging on June 21st. For additional information, contact the Milam County Extension Office at 254-697-7045.

The website for the new record book system is ready for your entries. Use either version of the 2012 4-H record book.

If a parent is unavailable to attend validation, you must contact us beforehand to complete and sign additional paperwork.

No animals will be validated without a parent/guardian present, or paperwork prepared beforehand.
