MARC VISIT



MARC VISIT—Board members of the Pierson Foundation visited the local MARC Center for a tour of the facilities and as special guests at a salad luncheon provided by MARC board members. The foundation was set up by the late Earl and Hazel Pierson of Houston in honor of their son, Wendell Pierson, to provide grant money to small centers serving the mentally challenged and handicapped individuals. The MARC Center has been the recipient of a number of these grants for instruction and special programs since 2005. Pierson Foundation members attending (L- R) are Gloria Borreca, Julie Armstrong, Sue Manning, Jack Manning, Marion Armstrong and Jerry Armstrong.
