NEW LOOK

Michael Lopez (bottom right), local Walmart manager, addresses a crowd of Walmart associates and Chamber of Commerce representatives Friday morning at the recently renovated Rockdale superstore. The sixmonth, $286,152 project included new paint, signs and store fixtures. Walmart officials told The Reporter that the local store employs 200 persons and has an estimated monthly payroll of $315,000. Super Walmart replaced an older generation store in Rockdale in 2005.
