I t’s hard to believe that half of 2012 is behind us. It was a fast six months. Parents, just another month and it’s school time again. Hope you and your family are making some fun memories this summer.

L isa Koen ig a nd ch i ld ren Kadance, Wyatt, Miles and Lane recently spent a week visiting w ith Lisa’s sister and family in Oklahoma. Then spent two days with an aunt in another Oklahoma town and then back in Texas they stopped on Dallas and visited with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. George Lambert Sr. who are visiting with a daughter there. Lisa reports they all had an enjoyable time.

Kelly Cooper, Kristi Lee and Jaxon Hayles, Kristian Lee and Kendall Lee, Leah Lee and I were in Bryan last Tuesday evening where we attended a bridal shower for Teri Musia, bride -elect of Lance Lee. They will be married Saturday, July 7.

Seth Vinton attended a sports camp in Bryan for three days last week.

It was great to see Margaret Gause this past weekend. She was here visiting wit her mother Jean Gause. She and husband are still liv ing in Kerr v ille. When she and her mom came into church I had to ask who she was, and I should have known— she hasn’t changed that much, but it has been a long time since I have seen her. Mrs. Gause is celebrating a birthday this week. Happy wishes.

Hope you all have a great 4th of July.
