Summer activities offered for adults through iTigers program

The Rockdale ISD iTigers program has ended the activities for students for the summer, but the program continues with activities for adults during the month of July, according to RHS ACE coordinator Denise Doss.

From walking at the track, to water aerobics to coupon class, there is something for everyone during the month of July. The classes are free and all of RISD residents can take part in the classes.

The classes include a boot camp for that high energy workout routine. Also a resume class and interview class to meet at Busy Bea Restaurant for some pointers on how to land that perfect job. Also at Busy Bea’s is a coupon class on how to save dollars while shopping. Join the extreme coupon craze.

The water aerobics w ill be held Tuesday and Thursday at the city pool from 10-11 a.m. for adults only. There will also be a Mom Group that will meet in the City Park for a fun fellowship with other moms. We will trade ideas for fun, inexpensive summer activities for the kids, crafts plus more.

For more information call Denice Doss at 512-760-5623 or email Amanda Bexley at amandabexley@me.com. The classes will run Monday through Thursday starting at 8 a.m.
