Good customer service priceless, dying commodity
Customer service, good customer service is priceless and bad customer service is the fastest way to damage a business. As business owners, it is your job to set the tone and teach your employees how customer service works and what your expectations are for them.
No other method works as well as leading by example. Make it a point to show one good act of customer service to your employees each day and see how well it pays off.

KIDS SHOE DRIVE—We are also helping Meadowbrook Baptist Church with their annual shoe drive for our school kids. This is kicking off now and we will collect new shoes through July so if you find a good deal pick up a pair and bring it by or stop by with your monetary donation.
If you are in need of shoes for your child, you can call the chamber at 446-2030 with gender and size information.
Pick up will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9 at the Meadowbrook Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
OUTDOOR EXPO—The Chamber is gearing up for its second annual Central Texas Hunting and Outdoor Expo which will be held Sept. 21-22. We are so excited that our feature band this year will be the famous, “Little Texas.” You will not want to miss this event.
We are taking applications for vendors and barbecue teams. So get your spot asap. I will also be coming to see many of my business owners for sponsorships. We expect huge crowds so I know we are all looking forward to that.
